The Perry County Council on Aging has decided to no longer offer bus trips beginning in 2026. As a result, they are in the process of transferring all 2026 trip reservations and related payments to Watkins Shared Adventures.
Please rest assured that your 2026 trip arrangements will remain exactly the same. All dates, itineraries, and planned activities will continue as originally scheduled, and no action is needed on your part.

You have many options on how to get a hold of us. Our contact information is on the Contact Us page. You can get in contact with us by text, phone, email or use the contact form on that page. You can also click on any of the Join This Tour links on the trip page to send us your info.
We are unable to match you with a roommate for any of our trips. In order to get the double occupancy rate you must book the trip as a group of two. If prior to the trip one of the people in a double occupancy room cancels, the remaining traveler is responsible for the additional amount for a single room or finding someone else to room with.
We do have triple occupancy options available on our trips. An extra bed or cot for the room may be possible and is dependent on availabilty and services provided by the hotel and cannot be guaranteed. Please contact us for details and pricing.
All travelers with the group must be 21 years of age or older.
Our preferred payment method is by check. Checks for any of our bus tours should be made payable to Diamond Tours and mailed to:

Other payment options can be arranged, please contact us if you would like to make other arrangements. Other payment arrangements may involve additional fees to cover processing.
For Diamond Tours we follow their cancellation policy. If we can submit your cancellation to Diamond Tours at least 2 weeks prior to the departure date you will receive a full refund. For refunds of payments already submitted to Diamond Tours you can expect your refund in 7-10 business days. If one person in a double occupancy room cancels, the remaining traveler is responsible for finding a new roommate or paying the difference for single occupancy.
Diamond Tours has travel insurance available through Travel Confident. Click the link to go to their website and enter the tour number for the trip which can be found at the bottom of the Trips page. The only way to get this insurance is through the Travel Confident website. We are unable to do this by check.
All of our trips depart from the Wal-mart in Tell City at 730 US Hwy 66 E, Tell City, IN 47586. All cars need to park at the far end of the lot in the spaces closest to the road.
The full itinerary for any of our Diamond Tours is finalized approximately 30 days prior to the departure day. At that time we will mail you the itinerary along with luggage tags and any other information you may need. Also around that time we will get information about any of the pre-paid meals for the trip and will be contacting you by phone to ask you for any meal choices as required.
The bus and tour leader will be following the itinerary. If you want to deviate from this itinerary in any way you will need to notify the bus leader and make your own arrangements for transportation. You can resume traveling with the group by making your way to a scheduled location and notifying the bus leader that you have rejoined the group.

There are some trips that we have done multiple times and should be able to answer your question. On trips that we have not done prior we may have to contact Diamond Tours or wait until the full itinerary is available to be able to answer your question.
Some trips are better suited for those with mobility issues. If you give us a call or email we can make suggestions on which trips would best suit your needs. We are able to accomodate mobility devices but our bus leaders and bus drivers are not able to provide any significant amount of assistance due to liabilty issues. All participants must be able to get in and out of a standard motorcoach without assistance from our drivers or bus leaders. Handicap accessible hotel rooms may be requested but can not be guaranteed.
